What is a BeatZ Box?

     The BeatZ Box is a fully welded rolling DJ console.  Designed for functionality, durability, practicality, ease of setup & the ability for record strike time.  These do not only look great, this tool will take your events to a level that is not easily matched.  Whether you choose a BeatZ Pod, BeatZ Mini, BeatZ Box, BeatZ Box Pro 2 or BeatZ Box Pro 3, any box from this family will make you the envy of your peers.  Every build will fit through a standard door, has 6" or 8" casters per your specifications, is a fully welded structure, has removable sides for easy access, has doors for the storage areas and will never need a tightening tool for any of it's structure.  The BeatZ Box versions are designed to hold a pair of Evolve 30's, 50's or Maui 28's in it's storage area.  Every Box includes a Tuki cover to protect your investment! 

     Our build history starts back in 1996 where our first version was a purchased box that we built a welded structure on wheels, attached it to the box via guide poles, then mounted a pick up truck jack to the frame and underside of the box.  We then used a drill motor to turn the jack 230 times to raise the box to a working height.  That box lasted about 15 years before I moved on to an Odyssey case.  I still was not fully sold that this was my solution.  In 2020 my answers came... I met a welder who was willing to help me fab a box that more closely met my design needs.  ( My day job for 26 years was an Aerospace Designer on CAD. Retired from the field in 2015, went full time DJ.)  Our first box was made out of aluminum tubing.  I did not want to constantly maintain the box so I did not build out of 80/20, this was a fully welded aluminum structure.  This was still not robust enough with the welds breaking in 4 places.  Box 3.0 was a created via fully welded 18ga steel tubing!!  Winner!!!  After 4 years of use and over 400 events we are now at version 6 and believe we are at our final design.  This box will likely last my career!!  Now it's tie to share the love and progress.  Let's help everyone do their best work!

     The Builds:  All boxes are made from 16ga steel tubing, 18ga sheet stock & 11ga plate, laser cut to our specifications and drawings, then fully welded together.  Every box is built via fixtures for accuracy and build repeatability.  The vertical side panels are 1/4 plastic and are removable to access your equipment and wiring ease.  Unless requested, all boxes are supplied with 8" casters, the Pod has 2 fixed, all others have 2 fixed and 2 rotating casters with locks.  All box heights with 8" casters are 43" tall.  The Pod and Mini both incorporate a 43" TV, The BeatZ Box's all have 55" TV's.  These builds are available without TV's, in this case the locations where the TV's are will be replaced with 1/4 plastic panels that are either glued or rivited in.  All boxes with TV's incorporate 1/4" Safety glass to protect your TV.  In addition, the Pod and Mini offer 4U rack space with storage under the Electronics Bay, Electronics Bay Closeouts to hide your wiring from your guests perspective, 2 external 110v power plugs and 2 XLR pass through connectors for your speaker and sound connections.  There are also doors covering every Storage Bay.  The BeatZ Box versions offer 8U rack space.
